Thank You, Seattle!
Together, you made Pride 2007 a HUGE SUCCESS!

Thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers, entertainers, and
the community supporters of the Seattle Pride Parade. Most of all,
though, thank you to those in attendance for coming out and
celebrating PRIDE with us.

We encourage you to visit the
list of businesses that sponsored the Seattle Pride Parade 2007!
We all have a choice in how we spend our money - let's support the
businesses that support us!

Our theme this year was "Come Together," and that we did! We had an
excellent turn out and lots of positive feedback!

A few quick facts:

● Crowd estimates of approximately 230,000 spectators

● 152 registered contingents

● Approximately 200 Motorcycles kicked off the parade including 4
SPD Motorcycles

● 3345 People took part, walking or riding in one of the 125
Vehicles (Cars, trucks & floats) in the Parade.

Thank you,
Mark “Mom” Finley, for being our ever-so-fabulous
parade announcer.

We also thank our
Grand Marshals and
Special Guests Dennis
Coleman, Kiantha Duncan-Woods, Chuck Lazenby, Jane Abbott Lighty &
Pete-e Petersen, Gay Fathers Association, Jenna Drey, Alyson and
Reina.

We will have pictures up on the web site soon; so, check out our
website and see
if we caught you on camera. If you have pictures you would like to
share, please e-mail a link or attach digital photos to
webmaster@seattlepride.org.

The Seattle Out and Proud Board is already working on plans for
the Seattle Pride Parade 2008, scheduled for June 29th,
2008!

We would like to hear from you and to get your feedback about the
PRIDE
events; so, please join the conversation online or at our next
community meeting. Remember, we cannot
do this alone; we can only do it together as a strong, supportive
community.

Please take a moment and give your feedback and suggestions at our
online
forum.

Thanks, everybody!
