Mark "Mom" Finley to be Official Parade Announcer
 We
are proud to have Mark “Mom” Finley as our Official Parade
Announcer again this year.
Mr. "Mom" Finley has been performing on stage for nearly 40 years
and over 20 of them in Drag! For the past 16 years in
Seattle his life has been an unheard of non-stop string of theatre
& cabaret productions, private parties, stand-up comedy and MC for
everything from Cowboy Mud Wrestling to Komen Cancer Foundation.

The Stranger announces First Annual Pride Parade Awards
 The
Stranger will be awarding four cash prizes recognizing the best
floats or marching contingents. These prizes will be handed out at
the Seattle Center immediately following the parade.

Gold/First Prize: $2,000
●
Silver/Second Prize: $1500
●
Bronze/Third Prize: $1000
